Recruitment
The 10 Doctoral Candidates have been recruited between February and May 2023 through a rigorous selection process that strictly adhered to the OTMR guidelines (Open, Transparent, and Merit-based Recruitment of Researchers). This recruitment process followed the recommendations outlined in EURAXESS and the European Charter for Researchers, ensuring fairness and transparency in candidate selection. All the PhD candidates must meet the eligibility criteria listed below. They are expected to begin their studies in September 2023 at their respective host institutions and will be enrolled in a PhD program under the supervision of their assigned academic organization.

Eligibility Criteria:

Mobility: Candidates must not have resided in the country where they are applying for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the project start (June-September 2023). For example, if the candidate is applying in June 2023, they should not have lived in that country for more than 12 months between June 2020 and June 2023.

Master's degree: Candidates must possess a relevant master's degree by September 2023 or have equivalent experience. Alternatively, they must hold an official university qualification from a country within the European Higher Education Area, with a minimum of 300 ECTs (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) of official university studies.

Research experience: Candidates must not have been awarded a doctoral degree at the time of recruitment by the host institution. Those who have defended their PhD project but have not yet received their doctoral award are ineligible.

Application limit: Candidates may apply for a maximum of 3 PhD positions.

Doctoral school: Employment is contingent upon acceptance by the Doctoral School of the associated PhD awarding institution.
